Battlefleid 3 player, DeepFloyd, created a thread on Battlelog (screenshot) forums to inform everybody of his findings. He claims to have seen him use the instant kill hack in person. The thread received 180 posts in less than 2 hours. It was removed by moderators and the hacker was stripped of his moderator tags.
According to two streaming websites he has breached the rules and has been detected by punkbuster for possessing a cheat violation. “VIOLATION (GAMEHACK) 80704”
The pbbans link will also take you directly back to the profile of the same person on Battlelog. The ggc-stream lists his aliases as “Problem_USER.” A youtube link on his Battlelog profile has him using the same alias. So it seems pretty certain that they are indeed the same person. The only remaining doubt would be if punkbuster produced a false positive or if the GUID was falsified.
How did this hacker get to be a moderator on the battlelog forums? It appears he has been caught for hacking on streaming servers and from eyewitness accounts he is a hacker. His current profile has his location in the United States, yet many of the servers he has played on recently are from Russia or Europe.
A moderator Abrahammer responded to the thread before it was deleted:
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I can assure you we are reviewing this case. Props to the community for bringing this to our attention. Thank you for your continued support and patience. I understand your frustration, and I believe these words are not the response you desire, but they represent the beginning of our investigation.
